Day 6 - June 16 - Newport Beach-Balboa-Irvine Hey it's Diego. We went to a big mall - South Coast Plaza in Irvine. We went to Ruby's Diner for lunch. I had a cheeseburger and a milk shake. Then we were to the beach and swam for 2 hours. The waves were really big. The lifeguard gave me a hard time about maybe being a weak swimmer and I should only go into the water up to my knees. How stupid.
On the way back, stopped at Albertsons grocery store for buffalo wings and some other goodies to snack on.
We then drove to Balboa Island that my Nana and Papa call Christmas Island because the first time they were there was around Christmas, over 10 years ago.
On the way back to the hotel we saw a Ferrari dealership, so I asked my Pap to stop so I could check out the cars. I saw Ferrari's, Maserati's and Lamborghini's - so cool. I talked to one of the guys that works there. I told him I like to draw those cars. He gave me a book that has the history of the Maserati Car Company. I made a picture of one of the cars from the book with a thank you note.
